Current Projects for Schools - Spring 2010
Sissinghurst CE (Aided) new Primary School
We have now completed the designing stage for the landscaped areas around the school grounds, features include: outdoor teaching areas, tranquil seating, sensory gardens, wildlife walks and vegetable plots.
Twig has been working closely with Diocesan Architectural Services and Jenner, consulting on the whole landscape environment and ecological aspects to the works. We will be planting up the car park areas within the next month.
Ifield School
Twig has designed and built a brand new sensory garden at this school, including outdoor music areas, 12m long water feature with cascade and fountain, Bamboo story telling area, soft planting and a turf dragon that roars!
College Town Infant school
We are about to start a seaside themed activity area including: lochness monster, jetty, beach hut and boat. This area will be complemented with feathery tall grasses to give movement and soften the edges of the design.
January 11th - We did our good deed today and helped clear the snow at Lamberhurst St. Mary's Primary School. Caroline Bromley, Headteacher at the school, tells all to Andy Garland at Radio Kent. Click to listen:
January 1st - Twig is at a point in its planned expansion, where the time is right to separate the business into specialized areas.
From January onwards we will have a dedicated commercial, domestic and education team who will service each sector of the business. This decision has been made to ensure that our quality of service remains high within in each market sector.
Our new website will reflect the new changes and will make navigation and information more accessible as well as keep you up to date with news and developments as they happen.
